Saying and Cancelin Evil: Telling Cancer, Illness and Healing
Cultural events from May 6 to 31
The Festival
The festival offers a wide range of public events, with the aim of bringing citizens closer to the themes of university research through accessible and open languages, cultural and artistic expressions: a true celebration of knowledge that has its beating heart in the spaces of the Beato Pellegrino Complex, home of the DiSLL. With exhibitions, readings, dialogues, concerts, films and theatrical performances, the Beato Pellegrino opens its doors to all citizens.
The festival is part of the larger project of Terza Missione Avvicinamenti – Saying and Canceling Evil, the result of the collaboration between the Department of Biomedical Sciences (DSB) and the Department of Linguistic and Literary Studies (DiSLL).
The project includes a series of events that, until December 2025, will offer the public the opportunity to learn about themes and specific areas of research: from disease to treatment, from prevention to resilience, in a perspective that combines the communicative aspect with the artistic and cultural one.
