“Casta Diva… but not too much”
Sunday, March 29, 2026 – 5:00 PM – Don Bosco Theater – Padua
I Musici Patavini are pleased to present a unique event in the Paduan theater scene, one that shatters the clichés of melodrama with elegance and a touch of irreverence. The stage of the Teatro Don Bosco (Via De Lellis, 4) will host “Casta Diva… but not too much” a musical and narrative journey that brings the sacred icon of Maria Callas back to a human level.
Not the usual academic tribute, but a dynamic theatrical work where the solemnity of grand arias blends with a fresh and engaging narrative. The show reveals the lesser-known side of the “Divine”: not only the immortal artist, but also the fragile woman, longing for love and sometimes ironic. Between an immortal aria and a spicy anecdote, the rigor of classical ballet meets the cutting irony of a theater unafraid to play with the “sacred.”
The protagonists:
Stefania Miotto (#lacantantelirica): Internationally renowned soprano and LILT ambassador, she transforms the world of opera into a brilliant game, combining impeccable technique and self-irony.
Federica Santinello: Actress and creative accomplice, she leads the narrative with perfect comic timing, revealing the secrets and adventures of the heroines of melodrama.
Marta Molinari: The celebrated classical dancer enriches the scene with the ethereal elegance of her movements, giving substance to the dreams and emotions of the music.
Full Moon Quartet: The string ensemble performs a refined repertoire live, becoming an integral part of the dramaturgy and an accomplice to every twist and turn.
Single ticket: €15
