The social promotion association Il Filo di Seta presents the project China is close, now in its V edition, which began with the Moon Festival 2025, continuing in 2026 with the celebrations of the Chinese New Year in Padua and Veneto, featuring a series of events born from the collaboration with the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Padua.
The spaces of Palazzo Moroni will host an exhibition and an installation that continue the cultural narrative begun in past editions, along with some appointments celebrating Chinese culinary traditions and a welcome to the arrival of the Fire Horse in Sala Rossini.
The China is close project aims to continue the association’s commitment to spreading traditional Chinese culture and art, creating a thread, but above all, a bridge between the Chinese and Veneto communities through knowledge, which comes from culture in its many aspects.
The Chinese New Year is celebrated from February 16. The program of the association includes several shared events on social media (page Facebook and Instagram).
