Markets and food and wine specialties in the squares and adjacent streets of the historic center. The Fair is held in two central areas of the city.
The Fair in the squares: Piazza Duomo, Piazza dei Frutti, Via Marsilio da Padova, Via Oberdan, Via Risorgimento, Via S. Lucia, and Via Battisti. From December 6th to January 6th, every day from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, with an optional extension of the closing time until 10:00 pm. On December 25th and January 1st, the Fair is open only to street food vendors.
The Fair in Piazza dei Signori: Sundays and Mondays on December 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, and 28, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
THE “SOLIDARITY HOUSES”: Three wooden houses made available by the City of Padua to volunteer associations for promotional and self-financing activities during the Christmas holidays: in Via Umberto I (at numbers 58/60 – 80 – 82) from November 29 to December 24, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, starting at 2:00 pm on November 29 only.
MERRY CHRISTMAS MARKET: Confesercenti stalls, selling food and wine products and souvenirs, on Via Umberto I from November 28th to December 8th, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
MARKET IN PIAZZA EREMITANI: Wooden chalets selling food and wine specialties and high-quality souvenirs in Piazza Eremitani, on November 28th (from 3:00 pm to midnight) and from November 29th to January 6th, from 8:30 am to midnight
ARTISAN CHRISTMAS: The Arti Itinerant Association has brought together a group of artisans and artists who handcraft their creations; some of them perform many of the tasks on site, conveying the emotion to visitors, who can admire the craftsmanship of their creations.
