The Padovanità Association presents:
“A Dive into History: Visit the Ancient Church of Pozzoveggiani” – Saturday, October 4, 2025
A day trip for this interesting visit to one of the most beautiful and interesting places in the Padua area. We’ll take you to visit the ancient church of San Michele Arcangelo in the Pozzoveggiani area (Salboro neighborhood).
The church of San Michele Arcangelo is one of the oldest churches in our area. Its existence is documented as early as 918. The current church dates back to the 12th century and exemplifies the influence of Carolingian culture on local architectural styles, strongly influenced by Byzantine influences, given that a previous building from the 6th-7th centuries stood on the site.
Afterwards, the usual convivial aperitif will be offered to all participants.
Meeting time: 3:30 PM
Tour duration (approximate) 1 hour and 20 minutes
A contribution of €10 per participant is required (€8 for members); €5 for children under 12.
