The Journey of the Olympic Flame for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games stops in Padua.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Foundation, organizer of the Journey of the Olympic Flame, has designed a journey of 12,000 km across the Country, starting from its departure in Greece on November 26, 2025, until its arrival in Milan and Cortina. The journey began in Rome on December 6, heading to Milan on February 6, 2026, crossing 110 provinces, spanning 60 cities, and involving over 10,000 torchbearers according to a route articulated in daily stages.
The passage of the Olympic Flame in Padua features the alternation of 28 torchbearers, with the last one performing the ceremonial lighting of the cauldron located in Prato della Valle, where the ceremony called “City Celebration” is scheduled.
The Padua itinerary will extend along 14.7 kilometers with 73 torchbearers along the streets of Monselice, Este, Abano Terme on January 20; Cittadella and Padua on January 21.
