The Padovanità Association presents:

The noble families of Padua: a visit to Palazzo Pisani de Lazara – Sunday, November 23, 2025

Between Ponte Molino and the Specola, the Tronco Maestro has flowed peacefully for centuries, flanked by the San Benedetto, Mussato, and Paleocapa rivers. The city’s layout allowed Paduan nobles, who built magnificent villas and palaces here, to be at the center of city life while still being able to use the waterways to travel to the Brenta Riviera. Nestled between the charm of the canal and the tranquility of a highly prized English-style park, Palazzo Pisani De Lazara stands silent and discreet.

Built in 1783 by the genius of Giannantonio Selva, a student of Canova, and later restored and redesigned in 1880 by Gabriele Benvenisti, the palace is the first example of neoclassicism in Padua and one of the first in Italy. It was enriched, among other things, by the pictorial decorations of the Venetian painter Pietro Antonio Novelli.

A single tour is scheduled at 2:45 PM, lasting approximately 1.5 hours.

A contribution of €12 per participant is required (€10 for cardholders); children under 12 are only €8.

Reservations are required; please send a WhatsApp message to +39 371 6890812.
