How strong is the bond between the famous coffee shop without doors, a symbol of Nineteenth-Century Padua, and the University of Padua, one of the world’s oldest and most renowned universities? And what connects both to the ritual of Goliardia, the irreverent but ever-present spirit in the streets of our city?
We will document over 800 years of Padua’s history and culture, discovering the plots and intertwining of the city’s life both in the past and in the present.
In addition to visiting the Pedrocchi Coffee Shop and its iconic rooms, where art, history, culture, and patriotism intertwine, we will also appreciate the Museum of the Risorgimento, housed within it.
We will then cross the Liston and discover the Museum of Goliardia, located in the body of the Cortile Nuovo of Bo, with numerous anecdotes and curiosities related to university life in Padua.
