The Camposampierese Federation invites all children and their families to the theater to watch “Pinocchio”.

The story of the puppet Pinocchio, a true archetype of growth, is here re-presented through a direction that strongly emphasizes the continuous confrontation between humanity and fantasy. Faithful to Collodi’s masterpiece, our staging retraces all the fundamental stages of Pinocchio’s journey of growth in the pursuit of his humanity, following all his adventures, from Geppetto’s house to Mangiafuoco’s Puppet Theater, from the Land of Toys to the belly of a giant fish. And after a thousand adventures, we will discover that the world can bring good or bad encounters, that sometimes, in order to grow, one can go astray, and that in the end, just when hope seems lost, one can still be reborn one last time.

The interaction of the actors with puppets, shadow play, and projections will offer a show rich in poetic insights and moments of pure fun. Obviously, as has become tradition in our company, there will be opportunities for direct audience engagement.
