Second edition of BOOKS CHESTNUTS & OTHER MISCHIEFS, an autumn event designed by several independent bookstores in the city: Libreria /Càr-ta/, Limerick, Mondolibro, Pangea Libreria, Paese dei mostri selvaggi, Pel di carota, and La Volpe Volante, which will take place in Piazza Eremitani on Sunday, October 19 from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
Market exhibition, readings, workshops, authors, illustrators. A rich program of readings, workshops, and tastings for children and adults.
The Program:
– 10:30 “But how do you speak?”
Reading and creative workshop.
From an idea to an editorial project inspired by the book “But how do you speak?”, published by Storiedichi. Ways of communicating and lifestyles of non-humans. Meeting with Elisa Pasqualotto, author, illustrator, and communicator. For girls and boys aged 6 and up.
– 11:30 “I’ll get a hundred grams with the bone”
Animated reading with Sergio Olivotti, author and illustrator (Terre di mezzo). For girls and boys aged 5 and up.
– 14:00 “Tales among the leaves”
Readings for everyone.
– 15:30 “Sunday in the city”
Reading and workshop with Alessandra Lazzarin, author and illustrator. For girls and boys aged 6 and up.
– 16:30 “Stories of very naughty children and very good wolves”
Animated reading with Cristina Petit, author and illustrator. For girls and boys aged 2 and up.
– 17:00 “An artist tells their story” The booksellers of Pel di carota talk with Ernesto Anderle (BeccoGiallo publisher), painter, illustrator, and comic artist. Meeting for adults.
– 18:00 “Five minutes before summer” Horror reading with Davide Calì, author.
