STRAIGHT TO THE HEART – Open Stage 2026

The beginning of a new year for Carichi Sospesi has always been a time for Open Stage, a moment of sharing and opening up the space to all artists and aspiring actors who wish to perform before an audience.

The 25th-26th edition also features an evening open to all the city’s theatergoers—actors and directors, enthusiasts and professionals—an evening where they can present a very short work or an excerpt from a longer work, where they can test themselves, challenge themselves, and share theater in complete freedom, without evaluation, without censorship, and under one constraint: a maximum run time of 10 minutes.

To register as an artist, please send an email with your first and last name, phone number, and a description of your show to caricasospesi@gmail.com to be included in the evening’s lineup.

Admission is free for the public, subject to availability.

Performances are reserved for ARCI members. The membership card, which costs €10, is valid for one year and provides access to all scheduled events: shows, concerts, and theatrical readings. Membership can be purchased on-site the evening of the performance, but we recommend that all spectators without a membership card complete the pre-registration form at https://portale.arci.it/preadesione/carichisospesi/.

For spectators wishing to purchase membership on-site, the box office is open from 6:00 PM on the day of the performance.

We recommend arriving at least 15-30 minutes before the start of the performance.
