Padovanità continues with the visit to the UNESCO sites of Padua Urbs Picta.
Sunday, November 2 2025 we will take you to visit the Church of the Eremitani, a place filled with suggestion and art, a sacred building with very ancient origins. There are frescoes by the greatest artists of the 15th century: Giovanni d’Alemagna, Antonio Vivarini, Niccolò Pizzolo, Ansuino da Forlì, and the young Andrea Mantegna, who was seventeen at the time and a student of Squarcione. The visit will be conducted by a certified guide from Padua, with whom we will also delve into the tragedy that struck the church on March 11, 1944, when Allied bombs destroyed much of its nave and frescoes.
Meeting at 3:45 PM in front of the Church of the Eremitani, duration of the visit (approximate) 1 hour and 20 minutes.
A contribution of € 12 per participant is required (€ 10 for members), and € 6 for children up to 12 years old.
Reservation is necessary via WhatsApp message to 3716890812.
