On Sunday 25th May, Vecia Padova presents the Spring Festival in the Ghetto, the first of the events that are part of “Le Muse in Ghetto”.
These events, which once took place in the only event in September, were created in 1987 by Vecia Padova to introduce the citizens to the artists, of all artistic disciplines, members of the Club.
Also this year the event will include the Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Exhibition, which will take place from 9 am to 7 pm, along the Vie del Ghetto, and which will be attended among others by M.ro Alberto Bolzonella, a very famous Paduan painter, member of Vecia Padova.
Around midday, in the Locanda Peccatorum terrace, Vecia Padova will offer those present a gastronomic specialty prepared by “Chef Angelo”; in the Peccatorum kitchen.
In the afternoon, at 4:30 pm, the “Aria Latina” Musical Ensemble, of Maestro Lucio Paggiaro, a member of Vecia Padova, will perform. As on other occasions, the impromptu performance of folk groups or street artists is always possible. As always, the event will end with a convivial meeting of the Members of Vecia Padova at the Locanda Peccatorum.
Initiative realized with the patronage of the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Padua. The Vecia Padova has the institutional purpose of making known to members, supporters and citizens the history, art, culture and ancient traditions of the City.
