NOVEMBER 30TH, 6:30 PM: Tiqqun, Hebrew Songs for Planet Care by Project DAVKA
The Tiqqun Olam, the “repair of the world,” is a fundamental concept of Jewish philosophy and ethics, according to which our actions are essential for creating positive change. Project DAVKA brings together musicians of different faiths dedicated to promoting Jewish culture, and conveys – through ancient melodies, modern rhythms, and brief explanations – the values of an ancient yet very vibrant tradition. Traditional Hebrew songs and texts blend perfectly with melodies and languages from around the world in a world music performance.
All concerts will be held at the MUSEO DELLA PADOVA EBRAICA, located at Via delle Piazze 26, and will be made possible thanks to the support of the Veneto Region.
