FERRARI-TRENTO: MOUNTAIN BUBBLES. Chardonnay according to the Lunelli family.

Tasting masterclass.

“Excellence is not an act, but a habit” (Aristotle)…

This is how the Lunelli family likes to describe their ongoing approach to the creation of Ferrari Trentodoc and all the activities of the Lunelli Group.

A word that is the daily practice of the entire Group and that is intrinsically merged with the Ferrari Trento Winery, born in 1902 from Giulio Ferrari’s dream of creating a wine in Trentino that could compete with the best Champagnes. Since 1952, this aspiration has been carried forward by the Lunelli family, and today Marcello, Matteo, Camilla, and Alessandro – the third generation of the Lunelli family – lead the company, bringing the Ferrari brand to the world as an ambassador of the Italian Art of Living.

All Ferrari labels are Trentodoc and are exclusively produced from Trentino grapes grown at altitude, with a very particular focus on one varietal: Chardonnay. It is no coincidence that, thanks to Giulio Ferrari’s insight, today Trentino is the largest Chardonnay vineyard in Italy.

The speaker: Alessandro della Penna, Retail & International Key Account Manager of the Lunelli Group. With over 10 years in the company, a wine enthusiast and lover of food and wine experiences, he is responsible for managing the Reception and Direct Sales areas of all the Wineries that are part of the Lunelli Group and major international clients in the Travel sector, such as Costa Crociere, MSC, ITA Airways, etc. He has contributed to creating and manages the “Family Archive” project for enhancing the heritage of historic bottles owned by the Winery and the Lunelli Family.

The wines to be tasted: – Maximum Blanc de Blancs – Perlè 2019 – Perlè 2007 in Magnum format – Riserva Lunelli 2016 – Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore 2015
