The Carrarese Palace opens its doors to the citizens and all visitors, offering a new opportunity for enrichment and discovery of one of the masterpieces of Padua’s history, on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 10:30 AM with the event Guariento in Music. Matinée at the Carrarese Palace.
The morning will start with a social gathering, followed by a tour of the frescoes created by Guariento di Arpo in the 14th century, part of the Padova Urbs Picta circuit and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2021. A concert moment will follow, led by Artemis Duo.
Artemis Duo is a chamber music ensemble composed of two young musicians, graduates of the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan, Emma Baiguera on guitar and Gabriela Clelia Cuna on flute and piccolo. This duo was born with the goal of exploring and enhancing new music with particular attention to compositions by women, while not neglecting the more traditional repertoire. The ensemble performs at various festivals and music events and collaborates with female composers active in the contemporary scene.
The events featuring the Carrarese Palace and its frescoes are curated by a group of young collaborators from the Galileiana Academy who, with dedication and care, welcome visitors from all over the world each day, guiding them in the discovery of this little 14th-century gem.
