Recital of the winner of the First Prize at the Venice Piano Competition, DANIELE MARTINELLI, on Sunday, February 22 at 11:00 AM, at the Sala dei Giganti in Liviano. The concert is anticipated to be one of the most awaited events of DOMENICA IN MUSICA, the series by the Friends of Music of Padua dedicated to promoting emerging young musicians. Daniele Martinelli is considered one of the brightest Italian talents of his generation.

The first part of the concert program is dedicated to the music of Hungarian composer György Kurtág, in celebration of Kurtág100, for the centenary of his birth (February 19, 1926), and a selection of miniatures for piano from the collection Játékok will be performed. The program will also include the performance of Kreisleriana op. 16 by Robert Schumann and two compositions by Aleksandr Skrjabin, the Sonata No. 10 op. 70 and Vers la flamme op. 72. The concert has been organized in collaboration with CIDIM ETS (Italian National Music Committee).

All concerts of Domenica in Musica 2026 will take place on Sunday mornings at 11:00 AM, at the Sala dei Giganti in Liviano, Padua.
