The local Observatory for the Landscape of the Roman Graticolato proposes a series of three meetings to deepen the understanding of one of the most significant territorial organization systems of antiquity.
The meeting on Wednesday, May 06 will take place at the Municipal Library of San Giorgio delle Pertiche, in the Grandesso Room.
Jacopo Bonetto will speak with a conference titled “The Centuriation: a Tool for Territorial Planning in Roman Times.” The conference aims to highlight not only the historical value of this model but also its enduring impact on the current landscape, contributing to greater awareness and enhancement of the territory.
