The Musici Patavini return to the stage on Friday, May 29 at 9:00 p.m. at the Don Bosco Theater in Padova (via Camillo de Lellis 4) with the special event “Morricone – Choir and Orchestra“. An exciting tribute that celebrates the genius of Maestro Ennio Morricone through a musical journey that spans from the lyricism of Nuovo Cinema Paradiso to the era of the great westerns of Sergio Leone.
The absolute protagonists of the evening will be the Morricone Tribute Ensemble and the Choir, whose sound power will support the extraordinary voices of soprano Stefania Miotto and tenor Vittorio Zambon. Together, the artists will bring to life an iconic program that weaves sacred and profane, transforming the stage into a vibrant tale. The repertoire will feature the legendary themes that have marked the history of cinema, from the atmospheres of Metti una sera a cena to the sound intertwining of the “Dollar Trilogy” (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, A Fistful of Dollars).
Also featured is Morricone the curator and arranger, with performances of classics from Italian music such as ‘Il Mondo’. A unique opportunity to relive the original atmospheres of a legendary career, awarded with two Oscars and over 70 million records sold.
