We will take you to visit the ancient church of San Michele Arcangelo in the Pozzoveggiani area (Salboro neighborhood). Through our visit, we will make a real journey through time.
The church of S. Michele Arcangelo is one of the oldest churches in our territory. It seems that its existence was already attested in a document from 918. The current church dates back to the 12th century and is an example of the influences of Carolingian culture on local styles, strongly marked by the Byzantine presence, given that there was previously a building from the 6th-7th century.
Following that, a convivial aperitif will be offered to all participants.
