Nighttime stroll through Padua’s porticoes from a privileged perspective
organized by the Padovanità Association – Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 8:00 PM
Few people know that Padua’s porticoes are one of the wonders and highlights of our beloved city. With its 25 km of porticoes, Padua is the second largest city in the world, behind only Bologna. Strolling along, and especially under, the most significant and detailed porticoes, we will discover their 700 years of history and development. We will analyze the frescoes, effigies, friezes, and inscriptions they house, conceal, and protect. Our evening walking tour will take us on a genuine journey through time, revealing stories and anecdotes that our beloved porticoes, so familiar and familiar to many, have hidden from us for centuries.
The walk begins at 8:00 PM, meeting in Piazza Cavour (under the statue).
The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
