A captivating evening walk through the iconic locations of Padova, linked to the mysterious figure of Ezzelino III da Romano. A man of his time, Ezzelino lived in a bloody era, yet he possessed a sharp intelligence and far-sighted visions that led him to unify a region divided into numerous fiefs, religious principalities, and ecclesiastical orders. Often forgotten by history, likely due to the label of “son of the devil,” he remains a complex political figure, worthy of attention and further study.
The walk will weave through the streets of Padova among alleys, palaces, and squares.
Meeting point: 8:00 PM in Piazza Cavour under the statue Duration of the visit: about 2 hours and 15 minutes, comfortable footwear is recommended.
