MAY 24, 2026
Other

Places, characters, events, and anecdotes that connect the greatest genius of Renaissance architecture to Padua, his birthplace. The proposed walk aims to enhance and rediscover the locations of his childhood and relive the events that characterized the personal and professional formation of Andrea Palladio in the city of the Saint, before his definitive move to Vicenza in 1524.

We will have the opportunity to relive some evocative streets of the city inhabited by boatmen and millers, among porticoes, humble houses, ancient palaces, and noble residences. The itinerary will conclude, in the splendid setting of the Loggia Cornaro, with a visit to the Renaissance complex, the work of architect Giovanni Maria Falconetto, who inspired Palladio in the creation of some of his masterpieces.

Estimated duration of the outing is approximately 2 hours, with a single visit time at 10:30 a.m.
Meeting place: Riviera Tiso da Camposampiero n.32 (in front of the Oratory of San Michele)

A contribution of € 14 (€ 12 for members) is required per participant, while for children up to 12 years old the visit is only € 8, which includes the walk with a guided tour and subsequent entrance with explanation of the Odeo Cornaro.

Advance reservation is required, via WhatsApp message to 3716890812
