From Nov. 9 to Dec. 8, the Sala della Gran Guardia will host the solo exhibition of Laura Fortin and Emanuele Sartori.
Diari Celesti – this is the title of the exhibition – encapsulates the artistic and personal journey of both artists, and well specifies that purity of intent that distinguishes them. The title is emblematic: the diaries are celestial because the works of the two artists transcend meaning, are unexpected gifts, never planned. Their works, in oil or dècollage, represent for both of them gifts from a never-ending inner dimension, an inexhaustible source from which to draw with ever greater strength. All this consistently binds their work together and makes this double solo show a singular representation where at the center is a constant search for truth. The idea of the double solo show stems from the friendship and continuous exchange that sees the two artists very much united between research and pictorial expressionism. Two very different techniques, but united by the same sensitivity to the interiority of the human being, with its anxieties, drives and contradictions.
Exhibition curated by Enrica Feltracco and Emanuele Sartori.
