The protagonist, Stefano Battaglia, is not only considered one of the most vibrant and intense pianists in the global music scene, but he is also a versatile improviser and a cultured, refined composer, rich in nuances and diverse influences. As a mature leader and creative sideman, in his usual solo dimension, he is able, with the utmost freedom, to retrace and convey with extreme depth all the richness and lyricism of his musical experience, while embracing the sudden yet rigorous transformations that have always characterized his artistic choices.

A dialogue that is at times melodic and meditative, and at times energetic and impetuous, between two great instruments: piano and violin, in the hands of two great interpreters, will bring contrasting emotions to life on the Barco stage: from the sounds of the Russian classical repertoire to the depths of Armenian musical tradition, to the playfulness of contemporary composition, in dialogue and in solos.
