From October 2026 to May 2027, the “Melchiorre Cesarotti” Municipal Library will host BiblioPopZone, a new monthly event open to everyone with free entry. Board games and social games become an opportunity to meet, get to know each other, and experience the library as a space for social interaction.
A library where you go not only to read or borrow a book but also to sit around a table, meet new people, and spend an evening playing together. This is the idea behind the Game Zone of BiblioPopZone, the initiative that will kick off on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 8.30 p.m. at the “Melchiorre Cesarotti” Municipal Library in Selvazzano Dentro.
The initiative offers eight events, one each month until May 2027, dedicated to board games and social games. The evenings are open to everyone, from enthusiasts to those who have never tried a modern board game and simply want to discover something new.
At the heart of the project is the idea of games as a tool for aggregation and social interaction, capable of bringing together different generations and experiences around the same table. Fast, strategic, collaborative, and narrative games will allow for different experiences each time, prioritizing the pleasure of being together and sharing an activity away from screens.
