The Veneto Festival returns, the great international itinerary of music, art, and architecture organized by I Solisti Veneti and the Municipality of Padua, with the artistic direction of Giuliano Carella.
From May to September 2026, 20 concerts in 18 historical venues across Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Emilia-Romagna, Slovenia, and Romania.
The festival offers a musical journey through Baroque, Classicism, and Contemporary, featuring works by Tartini, Vivaldi, Händel, Mozart, Šostakovič, Arvo Pärt, Ennio Morricone, and Rachel Portman.
Opening the Festival will be I Solisti Veneti conducted by Giuliano Carella with Norwegian mezzo-soprano Lilly Jørstad, starring in a refined program dedicated to the great repertoire of the eighteenth century among Haydn, Vivaldi, Porpora, and Mozart.
A night that encapsulates the artistic identity of the Festival: tradition, virtuosity, Venetian repertoire, and international reach.
I Solisti Veneti is an Italian chamber orchestra based in Padua. The orchestra is internationally renowned particularly for its performances of Baroque music from the Venetian 1700s, while also having a repertoire that spans from the 16th century to the present day.
