Two days of free self-training on the themes of education to differences and combating all forms of discrimination. The national meeting will take place on September 27 and 28 in Padua, at the Liceo Concetto Marchesi (Location “Fuà Fusinato”), on Divisione Folgore street 4/b.
Educating to differences is a network of associations that has been operating nationally for 11 years to promote a school capable of building citizenship, inclusion, and equality through training courses dedicated to schools of all levels; territorial comparisons; research, statistics, and publications; sharing good practices and cutting-edge methodologies. Among the various initiatives it carries out is the national meeting “Educating to Differences.” The annual meeting offers two days of self-training on the themes of differences and combating every form of discrimination with workshops, round tables, meetings, performances, exhibitions, and much more.
This year, Padua will host the edition of the meeting titled “Liber* to dissent” to promote a school that not only educates for obedience but for the ability to ask questions, choose, and dissent. The initiative encourages reflection on power relations and forms of oppression — sexism, racism, homolesbobitransphobia, ableism, classism — aiming not only to “include” but to build spaces of legitimacy and voice for those systematically placed at the margins.
The event is open to anyone who wishes to participate, with particular interest for third sector entities and those in educational and/or teaching roles. Participation is free and open, subject to registration at the following link: https://www.educarealledifferenze.it/eforms/registrazione-educare-alle-differenze-edizione-11/68/
