The exhibition “Liquid Horizons. A photographic journey between sky and earth at the mouths of the Upper Adriatic” opens on Friday, March 6 at 6:00 PM in the multimedia exhibition hall of the Padua Diving Club at Via Cornaro 1, featuring photographs from the sky, land, and water by Monica Garau and Stefano Cusumano.
An exhibition as part of the cultural initiative Sotto Sopra, sponsored by the Municipality of Padua. A documentary photography project developed with rigor both in terms of photography and scientific aspects, which also made use of aerial shots taken with a drone.
A photographic project that captures the majesty and delicacy of the river ecosystems, mouths, lagoons, and upper Adriatic, utilizing two radically different yet complementary perspective techniques: the aerial, geometric, and powerful view from the drone, and the sensory intimacy of ground shots.
“Liquid Horizons” is not just a documentary journey; it is a dialogue between the vastness of the landscape and its secret life, an invitation to reflect on the sculptural force of rivers and the fragility of these ecosystems.
