Three evenings that will transport the audience into a universe of emotions and surprises; an opportunity to let the imagination soar and provide unforgettable moments to share with friends and family in the shade of the Bastione Moro II.
A festival that goes beyond simply offering performances: The Last Bastion is a collective act of care and imagination, a place where the boundary between artist and audience dissolves in the sharing of emotions, stories, and visions.
The program spans an entire weekend, from September 25 to 27, to offer intense and diverse experiences between contemporary circus, street theater, and exploration of the territory.
The Baluardo Moro II characterizes the northernmost area of the fortified Padua front. After about thirty years of substantial abandonment, the structure underwent a comprehensive restoration intervention between 2019 and 2021, which now finally allows for its reopening and public use as part of the broader and more complex project of the Park of the Walls and Waters.
