Evening Walk: Misdeeds and Mysteries of Nighttime Padua – Wednesday, September 24, 2025
Understanding a city also involves narrating its bloody, violent, and sometimes tragic events and episodes, all of which are fundamental and strategic to the historical development of the community.
The walk we propose, for the first time at night, by moonlight, will explore and delve into corners of our city center that have witnessed, over the centuries, events—sometimes bloody, other times shrouded in arcane and mystery—that we are sure will captivate and amaze you. From the early years of Christianity to Austrian rule, we will review and recount the characters and events that have marked our city with blood and mystery.
The meeting point will be at 8:00 PM in front of the Loggia della Gran Guardia in Piazza dei Signori.
The tour lasts approximately 2 hours. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
A contribution of €12 per participant is required (€10 for members); €6 for children under 12.
