From October 9, 2025, to May 7, 2026, the 60th Concert Season of the Orchestra of Padua and Veneto will take place, led by Artistic and Musical Director Marco Angius.
A listening journey developed over 14 concerts, including one outside the subscription series, which will bring to Padua some of the most renowned soloists on the international scene, including flutist Silvia Careddu, violinists Ilya Gringolts and Giovanni Andrea Zanon, pianists Fazil Say, Arsenii Moon, Anna Kravtchenko, Maya Oganyan, and Maurizio Baglini.
The season will kick off with a celebration of the 150th anniversary of Ravel’s birth, featuring a grand symphonic concert conducted by Marco Angius, which will reunite two of the most famous ballets of the early 20th century: Bolero by the French composer and Petrushka by Stravinsky, culminating with Respighi’s symphonic poem Fountains of Rome (October 9, 2025).
As usual, OPV will offer the public the traditional Christmas Concert at the Basilica of Saint Anthony (December 18, 2025).
The 60th Concert Season of the Orchestra of Padua and Veneto is organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Veneto Region, Province of Padua, Municipality of Padua, and patrons “Art Bonus” Fondazione Cariparo, APS Holding, and the Friends of OPV Association.
The events of the new season will take place at the Auditorium Pollini and the Theater Verdi in Padua, preceded by open rehearsals for the public.
