In 19th century Paris, a young ballerina from the Opéra, at the end of the dress rehearsal, realizes she has swapped her bag with that of Monsieur Degas, the famous painter who has been observing and portraying the dancers amidst rehearsals, breaks, and moments of everyday life for months. Thus begins an adventure through the streets of the city, discovering the great artists who made Paris the capital of Impressionism.
A show-concert designed to move audiences of all ages, where music and live illustration intertwine in a tale rich in poetry. With over 40 musicians onstage, the most beloved pages of Satie and Debussy will come to life thanks to the Orchestra of Padova and Veneto conducted by M° Aram Khacheh, while the drawings created live by illustrator Eva Montanari, Andersen Award 2026, will be projected in real-time onto the backdrop of the Theatre, taking the audience on a journey through art, music, and imagination.
