The Padovanità Association is organizing:
Padua, City of Music: A Walk Through Notes and Sheet Music – Tuesday, September 16, 2025
An evening stroll that aims to highlight the close connection between our city and some of the greatest names in the history of Italian and European music.
Strolling with our guide Saverio Sanfratello, and listening to his explanations and amusing anecdotes, we will walk along the squares and under the porticoes that over the centuries have had the pleasure of hosting immortal celebrities, from Marchetto da Padova to Giuseppe Tartini with his Devil’s Trill, from a very young Mozart to Bartolomeo Cristofori, inventor of the piano, from the famous librettist Arrigo Boito to Teresa Rampazzi, pioneer of electronic music.
Meeting at 8:00 pm, the walk will take place even in case of rain as a large part of the visit takes place under the city arcades
The walk lasts approximately 2 hours.
A contribution of €12 per participant is required (€10 for members); €6 for children under 12.
