On Friday, July 18, in the beautiful setting of the Garden Theater of Palazzo Zuckermann, the presentation concert of the “Festival of the Walls of Padua 2025 – Preview 2026”, which enjoys the support of the Culture Department of the City of Padua and the patronage of Arpav, will be held.
With music by W. A. Mozart, L. V. Beethoven, F. M. Bartholdy, E. Grieg, E. Morricone and A. Ferrari, the star of the evening will be the New Art Symphonic Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Andrea Ferrari.
Free admission starting at 8 pm. A multi-sensory presentation is scheduled at 8:30 pm, while the concert will begin at 9 pm. In case of bad weather, the evening will be held at the auditorium of the Centro culturale Altinate San Gaetano at 71 Via Altinate.
The evening, which is titled “Padova Mura Festival Preview”, will be an opportunity for the presentation of the Padua Walls Festival, an event that aims to enhance the beautiful scenery of the monumental park of the Walls of Padua through musical initiatives that fit into the natural environments around the walls. The Festival is conceived by Maestro Andrea Ferrari, who is also its artistic director, and supported by the Padua Walls Committee, with contact person Dr. Fabio Bordignon, and coordinated for the communication part by Engineer Francesco Borella of Making Science.
The July 18 preview will be followed by three days of events at the San Massimo floodplain, August 15-17, 2025, during which concerts will be offered at different times of the day. Programs will range from opera to symphonic music, with a focus on repertoires inspired by nature and the theme of water. The audience will be invited to experience the spaces in an informal and participatory way, in contact with the natural environment, bringing along plaids or mats to sit on the grass and fully enjoy the musical experience. The program also includes guided tours and brief moments of in-depth study of the Walls Park, in continuity with the enhancement activities carried out by the Padua Walls Committee and local associations.
