On the day of the freshmen’s festival, the OPSA Theatre will host a doubly special concert: sunday, november 8, at 3.30 p.m., the Polifonica Vitaliano Lenguazza, the historical music ensemble founded in Padua in 1959 within the university context, will present a concert featuring its established repertoire that combines student goliardic singing with folk and cultured music from different eras. The concert will also feature the Carton Orchestra, the “big band” that emerged from group music therapy projects in the Disability Area of the Opera della Provvidenza S. Antonio, which plays self-made instruments crafted from recovered materials. Admission is free with a conscious donation: the proceeds will go towards the social assistance projects of the OPSA.
