Alberto Riello and Stefano Corbo
THE VOICE OF THE CONSTITUTION
Text by Loredana D’Alesio
Theatrical performance for the entire population aged 10 and up
FREE
The performance, using theatrical language, stages the Italian Constitution, highlighting its profound ethical and civil significance and its relevance today.
Staging the Italian Constitution is not an easy choice, because it is not a theatrical text and not just any text, but the grand foundational act of our individual and collective identity.
Alberto Riello and Stefano Corbo narrate the fundamental articles of the Constitution that touch on themes of work, equality, education, personal freedom, war, and its aberrations.
Its power and beauty emerge; the Constitution is beautiful, what it tells us is beautiful. Article by article, it reaches our hearts and seems to say to us, “life is a precious gift, defend it with your own life.” The author Loredana D’Alesio transforms the prosaic nature of legal text into poetry.
Participation is free. Reservations at +39 333 9206912.
