Dal Pozzo Gallery of Contemporary Art presents the exhibition Un Certain Regard, dedicated to the works of artist Gianni Lucchesi. The exhibition, curated by Nicola Galvan, features around fifteen painting and sculpture works, united by a reflection on the gaze, understood as a passage between the self, others, society, and nature.
The exhibition showcases Gianni Lucchesi’s most recent works in a display that engages both painting and sculpture, belonging to different cycles of work but united by a common thematic research developed by the artist over the years. At the center of the exhibition, realized with the Patronage of the Municipality of Padua, is an investigation into the gaze as a threshold between interiority and the external world. The works, characterized by a peculiar stylistic clarity, are configured as projections of the individual’s inner essence, giving shape to multiple points of view and a reflection on perception as the origin of thought.
Gianni Lucchesi has been active in the artistic field since the mid-Eighties as a sculptor and painter. His work, often the subject of awards and recognition, has been exhibited in Italy and abroad in private galleries and institutional contexts. Notably, he is also active in public sculpture.
The exhibition of Gianni Lucchesi will be freely accessible from April 10 to June 20, 2026, from Tuesday to Saturday, with hours 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
