Guided tour of the Education Museum reserved for employees of the University of Padua.
In Padua, between the end of the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century, the cultural climate fosters the educational work of several women active in the field of pedagogy: some are teachers, headmistresses, writers, while others are philanthropists and educators.
Among the many figures whose traces are preserved at the Education Museum-MudEd, we can mention Stefania Omboni (1839-1917), Vittoria Wolf Bassi (1847-1916), Ida Pilotto Sottini (1858-1951), Giannina Facco (1906-1988).
These are women who diligently carry out their work with a view to improving the social conditions and living standards of children and young people, convinced that education is a powerful tool for the progress of individuals and society.
