Wonderful Padua: from Treves Park to Pontecorvo via Porta Liviana

SEP 7, 2025
Other

Amidst medieval walls, gardens and hidden canals, we will discover a magical corner of Padua, nestled between the Basilica of Saint Anthony and the hospital.

First, we will discover the Treves Garden, freshly reopened after more than 10 months of closure due to major restoration work. With our guide Saverio, we will relive the history and evolution of this original English-style romantic park, designed by architect Giuseppe Jappelli, in which esoteric symbolism and Masonic tradition intertwine.

We will also visit the nearby Porta Liviana, one of the main gateways to Padua’s 16th-century walls. We will end our tour with the famous Ponte Corvo, linked to the sacrifice and martyrdom of Giustina, the first patron saint of our beloved Padua.

10:15 a.m. meeting point in front of the entrance to Treves Park in Via Bartolomeo d’Alviano.

Duration of the visit (approximate): 1 hour and 45 minutes (comfortable footwear is recommended).

A contribution of €12 per participant is required (€10 for members); €6 for children up to 12 years of age.
