10 th of November: the Fashion and Beauty Day of the past, Villa Molin relives the fashion of the 1700s and returns to open the doors that coincide with the opening of the social season.
The architect Vincenzo Scamozzi conceived the Villa for the ambassador of the Serenissima Nicolò Molin.
The Historical-Cultural Association @ilmondonovo_historyfragments will propose an exciting journey into the evolution of 18th century fashion.
From the Baroque inspired by the Sun King, to the refined elegance of the style of Louis Loose panier dresses, elaborate hairstyles and rich jewels will be the protagonists of this day dedicated to the elegance, refinement and joy of living of an era so distant and at the same time so close to ours.
Re-enactors from all over northern Italy will meet at Villa Molin with splendid dresses to reveal the fashion and beauty secrets of the time.
Villa Molin will be open for independent visits with video guide from 10.30am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 5pm
Guided tours of the villa and park will be held by reservation at 10am and 2.30pm
Access in period dress is reserved for accredited re-enactors only
