Padua: the city where Giotto painted the first kiss, where Shakespeare set “The Taming of the Shrew,” but also a city that has seen strong, saintly, educated, rebellious, and passionate women leave a deep mark on history.
The walk in the heart of the city aims to introduce those female figures who, often going against the tide, knew how to shine and bring honor to our beloved Padua with their choices and creativity. From Saint Justina, passing through Elena Cornaro Piscopia, Lucrezia Dondi dell’Orologio, Fina Buzzaccarini, and many others.
