Castello Festival, the cultural container of excellence that for 11 years has been a staple of Padua’s summer programme, is back. Ranging from music to theatre, from literature to philosophy, from dance to musicals, in the ten editions held so far Castello Festival has brought to Padua some famous artists from the Italian and international scene, with the participation of over 90,000 spectators.

The 2025 edition – the festival’s eleventh – promises to be full of novelties in terms of both content and location.

Twenty-two shows will be staged from 1 July to 14 September in two evocative open-air venues in the heart of Padua’s historic city centre: from 1 July to 31 July in Piazza Eremitani with a large stage and an audience of 720 seats, and from 28 August to 14 September in the Teatro Giardino of Palazzo Zuckermann with an audience of 200 seats.
