Notes on Sillabari. Tribute to Goffredo Parise and Vitaliano Trevisan Created in 2006 for the twentieth anniversary of Goffredo Parise’s death from an idea by composer Stefano Bellon, Notes on Sillabari developed into a melologue with the participation of the Thelonious Monk Big Band conducted by Marcello Tonolo, a pianist who then helped Bellon complete the incidental music. However, it only reached its final form with the involvement of writer and theatre director Vitaliano Trevisan (1960–2022), who transformed the tribute to Parise’s Sillabari into a completely new and original work, becoming its director and narrator.
