The twenty-eighth edition of the Padova Jazz Festival will kick off on Thursday, October 22 at 9:00 p.m. with a concert by the DJP Trio in the Aula Rostagni of the Department of Physics and Astronomy “G. Galilei” at the University of Padua. A space usually reserved for education that exceptionally opens up to live music, symbolizing the strong tendency of the jazz festival towards a younger audience. On stage, where there would usually be a lectern, will be Pietro Tonolo (sax and flute), Dario Deidda (electric bass), and Roberto Gatto (drums) in place of the expected Jorge Rossy (who had to cancel the tour due to family issues).
The Padova Jazz Festival is organized by the Cultural Association Miles presided over by Gabriella Piccolo Casiraghi, in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Padua and the Department of Culture of the Veneto Region, with the contribution of Bosco Costruzioni and Volksbank and with the support of the Ministry of Culture.
