The Library of Villa del Conte hosts the presentation of the book by Al Gallo, People of Camorra: I want a real life. It is a meeting with a man who could have ended up on the other side and chose to stand on the side of legality. Al Gallo does not judge; he tells the story of his people. And in the end, one will ask how much a real life is worth. Al Gallo does not write about the camorra; he writes against the destiny that the camorra sews onto people. His books do not glorify the bosses; they strip them bare. And his commitment is to bring his stories to where the camorra recruits in classrooms, at 14 years old, when one can still choose.
