On Sunday, December 21, at 5 PM, the series of CONCERTS FOR ADVENT 2025, the free-entry organ concert cycle organized by the Amici della Musica di Padova at the Church of S. Antonio Abate, at the Don Mazza College in Padova, in collaboration with CIDIM ETS – National Italian Music Committee ETS, comes to a close.

At the keyboard of the beautiful organ housed in the church is the young organist from Cosenza Mario Gaudio. He has participated since a very young age in many competitions and was the winner of the XVII Edition of the National Arts Prize, organ section, of the MIUR, a competition reserved for students of Italian music conservatories. He has performed concerts for the Beethoven Society of Crotone, for the Pietà de’ Turchini Foundation of Naples, and for the Anna Jervolino Musical Association of Caserta.

In addition to presenting two major German composers, namely J.S. Bach and M. Reger, the program includes a piece commissioned by the Amici della Musica di Padova from the young Italian composer Jacopo Petrucci, for which the piece Spazi Liminali will be performed. The composition has been specifically structured around the characteristics of the Zanin organ present in the church.

Tickets: free entry.
