Tourism Day is an event created by Union Camere with the aim of stimulating and sharing reflections on the importance of sustainability and on investing in a new development model for the territory.

It also represents the final event of the regional Tourism Support project based on the Equalization Fund of previous years.

The Program will include the Plan for the enhancement of the tourist destination: “The Rural Villages of Veneto”.

Stefan Marchioro, Tourism Director of the Veneto Region, will present the regional strategy for the tourism development of destinations, while Mariapaola La Caria,  the rapresentative of Starting 4 tourist consortium, will talk about the results and experiences of the operators who participated in the third edition of the training course “Tourism has changed, change too”.

At the end of the meeting a speech will take place with the marketing expert entitled: “The climate has changed, you change too”: the challenge of tourism between sustainability and new geographies.

During the event, the final video of the project “Tourism in Veneto: ” The challenge is sustainable” will also be previewed.
