Fondazione Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto announces the new summer festival dedicated to the complete Beethoven’s Symphonies.

The concerts at Palazzo Zuckermann gardens confirm an important meeting point for the city.

Ludwig van Beethoven was born in 1770 in Bonn, Germany, into a large family.

At the age of 14 he was hired as organist in the service of the new archbishop of the Bonn chapel.

He furthered his studies and moved to Vienna, where he met Haydn, to whom he listened to some of his first compositions.

During the French invasions, the archbishop of Bonn was forced to leave, and the young composer did not hesitate to exploit the opportunity to exhibit his music in aristocratic salons and among the bourgeois class that was taking on greater importance in society European.

He was the first great musician capable of expressing his passions through his art.

He composed his most important works between 1795 and 1815, unfortunately almost complete deaf.

Because of this, he was forced to abandon his concert activity, but he still managed to maintain his ideals: love for humanity, brotherhood and the goodness of nature and its creator, all aspects that emerge in a overbearing in his last works composed before dying in Vienna in 1827.
