Barco Teatro presents:
“Brion. Photographic Suggestions from the Memorial”
photographic exhibition by Giorgio Meneghetti
On Thursday, September 17 at 6.00 p.m., the new exhibition dedicated to the photographic work of Giorgio Meneghetti on the Brion Tomb, one of the most important architectural artifacts of the 20th century and the last work of the Venetian architect Carlo Scarpa, will be inaugurated at Barco Teatro.
An extraordinary work of interpretation which – quoting the author himself – “does not pursue a documentary intention: the formal juxtapositions aim to highlight important elements of the Work, playing with suggestions and references also to the ideative phases with the goal, as it must always be for photography, of attempting to evoke questions and reflections.”
Free admission.
The exhibition will remain set up for the entire duration of the II part of the “Scatola Sonora” concert season and will be visitable only and exclusively during the related appointments.
